This is a night shift role covering Monday to Friday 9pm to 5.30am

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performing regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on manufacturing equipment and machinery.
  • Conducting preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and prevent operational disruptions.
  • Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and technical issues, and implementing effective solutions.
  • Collaborating with the maintenance team to develop and implement maintenance strategies and schedules.
  • Keeping accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, parts used, and maintenance schedules.
  • Adhering to safety protocols and ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
  • Communicating effectively with the operations team to address maintenance needs and coordinate work schedules.

Authority:

  • You have authority to stop the job if you feel there is an unsafe work practice which could result in a risk of injury, have an environmental impact or risk to equipment and other personnel.

Requirements:

  • Qualification or Certification in Engineering OR Electrical OR Mechanical OR Automation OR similar discipline essential
  • 3 years hands-on experience working as a Maintenance Technician in an industrial environment essential
  • 1 year of experience troubleshooting and working with low to high (480V) voltage Circuits, Motor starters and controls and electronic circuit boards
  • Ability to navigate around HMI and VFD programs
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various types of manufacturing equipment.
  • Knowledge of maintenance best practices, including preventative maintenance and safety protocols.
  • Familiarity with industrial machinery, tools, and equipment commonly used in manufacturing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A commitment to safety and adherence to company policies and procedures.
