Currently we are looking for a Field Engineer to join us within the semi-conductor industry in Arizona.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the Superintendent with field management tasks, including implementing policies and assisting with decision-making.
  • Provide proactive assistance to the Superintendent in managing day-to-day field operations.
  • Contribute to project layout, including surveying and ensuring construction aligns with design and contract documents.
  • Check concrete forms for accuracy and completeness before placement, ensuring embedded items are correct.
  • Perform production trend analysis to track progress and assist with weekly and monthly scheduling and cost control reports.
  • Assist with quality control, site safety initiatives, and coordination of trade partners, as directed by the Superintendent.
  • Coordinate material deliveries, verify requirements, and inspect delivered materials for quality and condition. Report any discrepancies or damage.
  • Help foremen and trade partners interpret plans and specifications to ensure construction meets design intent.
  • Oversee and coordinate trade partner activities and assist in directing small workforces to develop supervisory skills.
  • Participate in jobsite safety meetings and weekly safety audits.
  • Collaborate with the VDC team on project execution, including reviewing and navigating 3D models and scheduling software to support field operations.

Authority:

  • You have authority to stop the job if you feel there is an unsafe work practice which could result in a risk of injury, have an environmental impact or risk to equipment and other personnel.
  • Carry out your duties to meet Quality, Safety and Environmental requirements at all times.

Requirements:

  • A 4 -year degree in Civil, Structural, Architecture or Construction Management.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Computer software – Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel based templates, Prolog, Primavera and AutoDesk Suite.
  • Safety conscious professional
  • Past internships in the construction industry desirable
