We are seeking a skilled BMS Engineer to join our team in Abilene, Texas.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review and validate design specifications, control sequences, and integration plans for data
  center systems (e.g., HVAC, CRAC/CRAH, chilled water, BMS, EMS).
• Coordinate with MEP contractors, commissioning agents, and system integrators to ensure
  controls systems are installed and programmed to spec.
• Develop and review control logic, I/O lists, and interface requirements for PLCs, DDCs, and
  SCADA systems.
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and Site Acceptance Tests (SATs).
• Support commissioning, start-up, and handover activities, ensuring systems operate within
  design parameters.
• Troubleshoot and resolve controls-related issues during construction and commissioning
  phases.
• Ensure all work is in compliance with data center standards (e.g., Uptime Institute, ASHRAE,
  NFPA, IEEE).

  personnel.
• Carry out your duties to meet Quality, Safety and Environmental requirements at all times.

Requirements

• 3–7+ years of experience in controls engineering, preferably in mission-critical or large-scale
  construction environments.
• Strong understanding of Building Management Systems (BMS), Energy Management
  Systems (EMS), Electrical Power Management System (EPMS) and integration protocols
  (BACnet, Modbus, SNMP).
• Familiarity with commissioning processes and standards (ASHRAE Guideline)

• Experience working with major BMS platforms (e.g., Siemens, Johnson
  Controls, Honeywell, Schneider Electric).
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, chilled water plants, and backup power systems (UPS,
  generators).
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across trades
  and disciplines.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in hyperscale data center projects
• Familiarity with electrical monitoring systems and integration with SCADA/DCS.
• Knowledge of data center Tier standards (Uptime Tier III/IV).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or Revit for reviewing MEP layouts.
