Join Our team
Currently, we are looking for like-minded professionals to join our team and are hiring CV Embedded Engineer to support a very high-profile automotive manufacturing client in Co. Galway.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop automotive production quality code to integrate and optimise computer vision algorithms for the targeted SOC
- Provide accurate runtime/bandwidth and memory footprint estimates and measures for the given modules
- Give regular feedback to the algorithm team with options to improve on algorithm bottle necks
- Integrate interfaces and check dependencies for new algorithm releases
- Design integration to support debug activities
- Support code documentation and respect code quality guidelines and best practice

- You have authority to stop the job if you feel there is an unsafe work practice which could result in a risk of injury, have an environmental impact or risk to equipment and other personnel.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience with software development using C/C++ on embedded platforms (e.g. ARM and DSP)
- Knowledge of embedded system architecture such as memory hierarchies, vector processing
- Experience in resource/load sharing and synchronisation techniques for multi-core processing
- Knowledge of embedded processor internals, development tools (build systems, configuration management-Git/Hg etc.
- Automotive background is an advantage
