Currently we are hiring a CSA Estimator to join our team in Dallas
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil, structural, and architectural works based on drawings, specifications, and scope documents.
• Quantify materials and labor using takeoff tools and industry databases.
• Review and analyze project drawings and tender documents to identify risks, scope gaps, and value engineering opportunities.
• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and validate scope coverage.
• Support bid submissions and project budgeting by providing accurate, timely estimates and cost breakdowns.
Authority:
You have authority to stop the job if you feel there is an unsafe work practice which could result in a risk of injury, have an environmental impact or risk to equipment and other personnel.
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in CSA estimation, preferably in industrial or large-scale construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications related to civil, structural, and architectural disciplines.
- Proficiency with estimation and takeoff tools (e.g., Bluebeam, CostX, PlanSwift, or Excel-based systems).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with attention to detail and deadlines.
- Experience in the semiconductor or high-tech construction sector is an advantage but not essential.
